2024-10-17 to 2024-10-18 - Interior Design Work for Houses

I focused on creating interiors for four houses, aiming to give them a realistic and lived-in feel. The goal was to make it seem like the residents had left in a hurry. I started with one house as a test environment to figure out the right layout, lighting, and object placement to capture the right atmosphere. This process involved experimenting with various details to make the house feel authentic.

I included small touches to enhance the realism, such as open cabinets with neatly stored supplies, unevenly placed chairs around a dinner table, and boxes left partially packed. These elements were added to suggest that people left quickly, hinting at an underlying tension. Scattered papers and open drawers contributed to the sense of urgency and abandonment.

Once I achieved the desired look in the first house, I applied the same principles to the other three. Even though each house retained unique details to differentiate them, they all shared a consistent theme of urgency and mystery. This work was about capturing an environment that felt authentic and connected to the game’s narrative.
